And happy holidays! We havenât been taking much time off, so hereâs the latest update on production and shipping.
Weâre making great progress with production, and weâre on track with January 22 shipping. Thereâs some more tweaking to work through, but the process is running well overall.
Great news is that the first units are through the first article submission, which is the official approval of production units at the factory. Things are picking up fast over the following days, and this brings us that much closer to shipping.
The next step now is to review the first batch of the production run. This is a critical and very exciting stage of the production, and weâll make sure to keep you up to date.
Here are some more snapshots from the production
We'll be back with more photos soon.Â
The Premium Travel Case is almost finished and together with the packaging, the unboxing experience is almost ready. Some smaller details of the packaging are still being modified, such as the foam inside the travel case, but what you see below is for the most part the final design.
Check out the unboxing video below:
Weâve sent a review unit of FlowMotion ONE to Apple, which they require in order to release the App to the app store, and weâre eagerly awaiting final approval. Again, thank you so much to everyone whoâs been apart of the beta testing. Weâll continue to push new updates as we get closer to launch.
The Android app is still in development, but it will be ready to go out for testing soon. As things are moving fast now, thereâll be more updates coming soon.
Weâre really close now, and getting ready to start a new chapter in this journey with all of you. Thanks for being with us through it all, especially during this final stretch. We canât wait to share ONE with you.
As always, weâll keep you updated on everything as shipping approaches.Â

Hey Backers, hereâs the latest news.
Good news - weâre on track for shipping the first units end of November. However, we wonât be able to ship all units in November, but weâre expecting to clear all backer units by December.
As mentioned, weâll ship all units on a âfirst come first servedâ basis, according to your backer number. However, there will be some deviations depending on where youâre located. More news on shipping when we get closer, weâll do our best to ship as many as possible before the holidays.
We recently conducted the most critical stage of CE, FCC and IC certification for ONE. The certificates are mandatory for all consumer products, and with a strict set of regulations, itâs hard to pass the test. Happy to have cleared the first stage - on the first go.
In order to deliver as fast as possible, weâve partnered up with Floship and DHL Express, the best combo we could ask for. Floship has fulfilled more crowdfunding campaigns than any other logistics company and DHL Express will ship to you in a matter of days. At shipping, you'll get notified and receive thorough tracking info directly from them.Â
With shipping approaching fast we need to secure in all address and shipping information. Make sure youâve responded to the backerkit survey and registered the correct shipping info. If youâre not sure, check your status by following this link (or the previously given backerkit login)
Besides production, weâre continuously working on the app. Weâre getting a steady stream of user feedback, fixing bugs, building new features and getting ready for launch. Stay tuned for new versions (with editor for video!), and Android beta soon.
Weâre also finishing the efforts of optimizing the control system (firmware), making sure we have a state-of-the-art user experience. In addition, weâll continuously update firmware via the app in the future.
Expect another update in the 2-3 weeks, in addition to several smaller videos and photo updates coming up. Weâve got a lot going on and will keep you up to speed!
Thanks for all your support.

Hereâs a short update with some exciting news.
We recently conducted EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and ESD (electrostatic discharge) pre-tests of FlowMotion ONE - and it passed with flying colors.
All electronic products have to pass these test in order to get FCC, IC, ETSI and CE approval, and not all of them do. The tests are basically to make sure your FlowMotion ONE doesnât juice you with any electromagnetic signals or electrostatic discharges (and according to the test, youâll be perfectly safe).
The tests are performed in a certified EMC Laboratory, specifically designed to stop outside electromagnetic radiation and prevent echoing of electromagnetic waves - and it looks pretty cool.
Other than that, production is underway and weâre still looking at late October shipping. Stay tuned for a thorough update next week.
We want to give back to all of you, and plan to build extensive how-to guides on our blog and YouTube, specifically tailored to you. Weâll talk to industry experts and invest time and effort in curating the best possible guides. Expect to learn about everything from camera settings to editing and how to use the stabilizer to get epic camera movements.Â
But in order to tailor the content, weâd love to hear what you want to learn more about. Click here to tell us what you want to learn more about!Â
More news coming next week.

Thanks for checking in, hereâs some exciting news.
Production is starting up next week! Weâre beyond excited to get started, and the current estimate is 6 weeks production time, which puts us on track for late October shipping.
Looking back at our previous updates, you can see that weâve worked through issues, redesigns, and unexpected hurdles, so to start the production up at last marks a really important milestone. Countless hours of work have been laid down thus far, both by our production partners and by us. Weâre humble to have an incredible engineering team, with CTO & Co-founder Eirik leading the pack, and dedicating so much energy towards making ONE ready. Weâre excited to share more moving forward.
In the meantime, weâve got some other news for you:
A new iteration of the Extension Pole is ready. The threads are improved for more stability and a smoother attachment process. In addition, the joints are reinforced to withstand more weight:
The pole itself has gotten a fresh look, with a tighter carbon fiber stitching and a clean finish. In addition, weâve further iterated the rubber on the grip, giving it a cleaner look more in tune with the rest of the design - without compromising the confident grip feel:
Thanks to everyone who is providing feedback! Until now, weâve focused on developing features, which requires a lot of âback endâ work (managing memory, CPU/GPU access and other stuff you canât see). But, weâve taken a lot of great feedback on the user experience, and will push a new update with improved design (looking really good) within the next few days (Oyvind is tweaking out the last details). Stay tuned!
The Android version is in development, and apart from minor adaptations to the Android platform (mostly back end stuff) itâll be identical - both in features and design. Weâre thrilled to share more news and beta testing moving closer to launch, with more info coming up in the updates to follow.
Stay tuned for more news coming soon.

Hope you're enjoying summer! Itâs public holiday here in Norway, but the FlowMotion office is boiling and weâre hard at work getting your stabilizer ready.Â
This is just a short update, with a video highlighting some of the key features that differentiate FlowMotion ONE from the rest:
We're awaiting some key information in order to give you a thorough update next week. Stay tuned!
Thanks a lot to everyone who is currently testing the beta, the feedback you send us is very helpful! We're currently adding new features, updating the AutoFollowâą algorithm and will add another 100 users by the end of the week (users are added sequentially in the order of sign up). The Android version is not ready for beta testing yet, but don't worry, you're not forgotten.
More news coming soon
